Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and a nibble in our cozy library as we gather for lively conversations, create some crafty projects and sometimes educate ourselves with a variety of presentations from Hubbard’s community partners. No matter what the topic, each Monday aims to be an uplifting way to start your week this Autumn.
There are morning activities from 10 a.m. to noon. Games, cards, knitting, crocheting, rug hooking, or a chat over refreshments – there’s something for everyone. All Bay Seniors members are welcome. There is no cost.
Join us for pickleball from 1-3 pm in the afternoon, for a $2 fee.
Equipment is provided and beginners are welcome.
Let Bay Seniors know if you don’t have access to transportation. With 3 to 4 days’ notice, they can help you arrange a ride with BayRides and cover the cost.
Please contact them with questions or to book a ride at dropin@bayseniors.ca or 902-820-3334 (messages are retrieved on Tuesdays and Thursdays).
Meet other caregivers for coffee, tea and conversation while your baby, tot or preschooler plays. Older siblings of any age are welcome to attend. Local doula and CAPPA-trained lactation educator Jo Beckett is available for breastfeeding support.
