The Hubbards Farmers’ Market, now in its twentieth-first year of operation, is located at the beautiful Hubbards Barn & Community Park in the middle of 6 acres of peaceful woodlands and fields. Enjoy a stroll along our woodland paths, visiting with friends or make new ones on the south side patio. Have coffee and treats and watch the kids playing in the big sandbox.
We have over 40 local vendors from all points along the South Shore, the Valley and Halifax. Their high quality wares feature delicious fresh toasted bagels, organic fair-trade coffee, fresh vegetables and herbs, berries, jams, jellies, premium spirits, wines, grass-fed beef, lamb, chicken, eggs, fresh and smoked fish, wonderfully aromatic breads, cookies, cakes, pies, sausages and other treats.
Buy fresh flowers for a friend or just for you, perennials, baskets, candles, quilts, bags, jewelry from beads and glass to silver and gold, and wonderful handmade soaps. Watch our revolving tables for new unique local items.

Hubbards Radio Society (CoveFM)
Cove FM is a not for profit community radio station owned and operated by Hubbards Radio Society. We serve the greater St Margarets Bay/Hubbards/Chester Areas. Ours studios are located in Hubbards and our transmission facilities are located on the top of nearby Aspotogan Mountain. Our legal call letters are CKVE-FM. We are a class A FM station, transmitting at a power of 1080 watts ERP with our antenna at 150 metres above average terrain. We offer a mixed music format that includes pop, rock, country, folk, blues, jazz, bluegrass, East Coast, and many other genres by both well known performers and indie artists. Our signal reaches west to the outskirts of Bridgewater and east to the outskirts of Halifax covering a population of approximately 50,000 people. The station is operated by volunteers from the community.
